Akko Gin
The gin, which was first launched in 2015, is the first in the world that all its ingredients are from Israel. The most prominent plants in the mixture are:
Cedar juniper, Lebanese cedar, common myrtle, gum goddess, Etrog, raspberry, lavender, coriander, noble maple, fig and olive.
Produced in a unique method in which all ingredients are distilled separately in stainless steel barrels. The “blending” process of the distillates is then performed according to
Master Blender’s recipe and nose, just like they do in the worlds of whiskey and cognac.
Unlike most gin brands, the base alcohol in this gin is refined from grapes and not cereals, which makes it kosher for Passover.
